Alexandra is working on a number of different projects exploring consumption, tourism, and the media with an emphasis on critical marketing, sociological, and gender perspectives
Most recent projects focus on the effects of technology and the digital environment their impact on consumption, tourism, intimate relationships, and new market development.
Other ongoing projects focus on aspects of gender and sexuality and their role in the marketplace, as well as implications associated with the pornification of culture
